Managing accounts and traders

The PropExecutor admin panel: account types, bulk provisioning, traders, credentials, breaches, history, analytics and team access.

  1. What is the PropExecutor admin panel?

The admin panel is where your firm runs PropExecutor: creating account types and rule sets, provisioning trading accounts in bulk, managing trader records, rotating credentials, reviewing breaches and trades, branding the terminal, buying credits, issuing API keys and viewing analytics. It is for your firm's staff, not for traders.

  2. How do I create a trading account?

Choose an account type and create accounts from the Accounts page, either one at a time or up to 100 per request. Each account gets an 8-digit account number, a generated password and the account type's starting balance and current rule version. It can stay unassigned or be assigned to a trader straight away.

  3. How many trading accounts can I create at once?

Up to 100 trading accounts per request, as long as you have enough credits. To create more, submit several requests. Each account uses one credit, and the request is refused as a whole if there are not enough credits for the quantity you asked for.

  4. What is an account type?

An account type is a product your firm sells, such as "$25K Standard" or "$100K Funded". It sets the starting balance and points at a rule set, and every trading account is created from one. Several account types can share the same rule set, and account types can be archived when you stop selling them.

  5. How do I set the starting balance for an account?

The starting balance comes from the account's type. Create an account type with the balance you want, such as $50,000, and every account created from it starts with that balance. To offer a different size, create another account type; several types can share one rule set.

  6. How do I add a trader?

Open Traders and create a trader record with the person's name and email. You can then assign one or more trading accounts to that record. Traders do not sign up themselves, and a trader record is not a login: the trader logs in to the terminal with an account's credentials.

  7. Do traders need to sign up on PropExecutor?

No. Traders never create an account on PropExecutor. Your firm creates a trader record with their name and email and assigns them a trading account. The trader logs in to the terminal with that account's Account Number, Password and Server. There is no trader sign-up, profile or password reset on PropExecutor.

  8. How do I assign an account to a trader?

Open the account in the admin panel and choose the trader record to assign it to, or assign it while creating accounts. Over the API, `PUT /v1/accounts/{number}/trader` with a name and email assigns it and creates the trader record if needed. Then send the trader the account's credentials.

  9. How do I reassign an account to a different trader?

Unassign it from the current trader, rotate its password, then assign it to the new trader and send them the new credentials. Reassigning ends live sessions, but the account number and server stay the same, so rotating the password is what stops the former holder from logging in again.

  10. How do I rotate a trading account's password?

Open the account's drawer in the admin panel and choose to rotate the password, or call `POST /v1/accounts/{account}/credentials/rotate` over the API. A new password is generated and shown, and every live session for the account is revoked. Send the new password to the trader.

  11. How do I cut off a trader's access immediately?

Rotate the account's password, which revokes every session for it. For a stronger action, also unassign or archive the account. Open terminals are signed out at their next token refresh, within at most 15 minutes, and cannot log in again with the old password.

  12. Can I breach an account manually?

Yes. Firms can mark an account as breached from the admin panel, with a reason, for violations found outside the automatic rule checks, such as a prohibited strategy discovered in review. Manual breaches are recorded separately from automatic ones and do not replace the rule engine's checks.

  13. Can I close or archive an account?

Yes. Archiving takes an account out of active use, revokes its sessions and hides it from your active lists, while keeping its history. Firms can also close open positions on an account from the admin panel. Archiving does not refund the account's credit.

  14. How do I see why an account breached?

Open the account in the admin panel to see its status, the time it changed and the recorded reason, including which rule ended it. The same information is in the API's account report, where the rule that ended the account comes first in a list of breaches with observed and threshold values.

  15. How do I see an account's trade history?

Open the account in the admin panel to see its trades, with instrument, side, size, open and close prices and times, and profit or loss. Through the API, the trades and report endpoints return every deal with its ticket number, plus open positions and pending orders.

  16. Can I see all of my firm's trading activity in one place?

Yes. The admin panel's Analytics section summarises activity across your firm: an overview, trading activity, trader engagement with the terminal, quality measures, and a lookup for any single account. All views are limited to your own organization.

  17. Does the admin panel include analytics?

Yes. Every plan includes firm analytics in the admin panel: overview, trading, engagement and quality views, plus per-account lookup. They show how your accounts trade and how traders use the terminal, scoped strictly to your organization.

  18. Can I add team members to the admin panel?

Yes. The admin panel supports more than one user per firm, with owner and admin roles. Additional users are added by the PropExecutor team on request; contact the team with the person's email and role. Each person then signs in with their own email, using a one-time code or Google.

  19. How do I sign in to the admin panel?

Sign in with your email address and a one-time code sent to it, or with Sign In With Google. There are no passwords for the admin panel. Your session stays signed in through a secure refresh cookie, and signing in from the PropExecutor website keeps you signed in on the panel too.

  20. Can I sign in with Google?

Yes. The admin panel supports Sign In With Google alongside email and one-time code. Google verifies your email address, and you are signed in to the firm that email belongs to. It is also available on the PropExecutor sign-up page.

  21. Does the admin panel have a setup wizard?

Yes. After your plan payment is confirmed, you land on a setup wizard that walks through the essentials: naming your firm, choosing its server name, picking a rule template and choosing the account sizes you will sell. Afterwards everything can be adjusted in the panel.

  22. Can I export account data?

Account data is available through the API, which returns full reports with every deal and position, equity series and analytics for each account, so firms can export to their own systems or spreadsheets. If access ever ends, PropExecutor's terms provide for an export of your organization's data on request within thirty days.

  23. Can I create unassigned accounts in advance?

Yes. Accounts are created unassigned by default, so you can build inventory for each account size ahead of sales and assign accounts to traders when purchases arrive. Each account uses its credit when created, keeps its frozen rule version, and stays ready until assigned.
