Do I get a credit back when an account breaches or is archived?
Quick answer
No. A credit is used once when a trading account is created and is not returned when the account breaches, passes or is archived. This keeps the cost of each account fixed and simple. To give a trader a new attempt, you create a new account, which uses a new credit.
Detailed answer
The rule is deliberate: one credit buys one account for its whole life, not a slot that can be recycled.
Why credits are not returned
- Simplicity: each account has one clear cost.
- Records: every account, including breached ones, keeps its full history for disputes and payout review.
- Fairness: the price per account already reflects that most evaluation accounts end in a breach.
What this means for resets
A reset or retry is a new account, assigned to the same trader record. That is good practice anyway, because the new attempt has its own clean history and runs on the current rule version.
Planning for it
When you estimate credits, count every account you will create: evaluations, resets, funded accounts, scaled accounts, trials and competition entries. At Growth pack prices, each one costs as little as $0.64.
Archiving
Archiving an account ends its live sessions and removes it from active use. It does not return a credit and does not delete its history.
