Can a trader switch between their own accounts?
Quick answer
Yes. If your firm assigns several accounts to the same trader email, the terminal's menu lists them and lets the trader switch between them without re-entering each password. Each switch opens a session for one account only. Reassigning an account to someone else removes it from the former trader's list.
Detailed answer
The account switcher was added for traders who hold several evaluations or funded accounts with the same firm.
How it works
- Your firm assigns accounts to a trader record (name and email).
- The trader logs in to any one of their accounts.
- The menu lists every account under the same email in your firm.
- Choosing one opens a new session for that account alone.
What is not included
- Accounts your firm has closed cannot be switched to.
- Accounts at other firms never appear.
- Each session still covers exactly one account.
Security consequence
Because one account's login opens its siblings, reassigning an account to a different trader record is what removes a former holder's access to it. When an account changes hands, reassign it and rotate its password.
Per-browser archiving
Traders can hide accounts in their own menu, for example finished evaluations. This is only a view preference in their browser and does not affect your firm's records.
