Trader choice
By default, each trader can choose light or dark, and the choice is remembered in their browser.
Firm control
The terminal theme is part of a firm's branding on Basic and Growth. A firm can choose a theme preset that fits its brand, for example a dark terminal for a brand built around dark colours.
Logos for each theme
- Starter: a dark-background logo.
- Basic and Growth: separate logos for dark and light backgrounds, so the logo stays legible in both themes.
Accent colour
Your accent colour appears on buttons and highlights in both themes. Choose a colour with enough contrast against both light and dark backgrounds.
Charts
Chart colours follow the theme, keeping candles and grid lines readable in either mode.
Checking your branding
After uploading logos and choosing an accent colour, log in to a test account and switch between themes to confirm both look right before traders see them.
