Can I change my firm's server name later?

Only until you create your first trading account. After that the server name is locked, because it is part of every login you have issued, and changing it would stop all your traders from logging in. Your firm's display name and branding can be changed at any time.

This is one of the few permanent choices in PropExecutor.
Why it is permanent
Traders log in with three values: Account Number, Password and Server. The account number and server never change for an account; only the password can be rotated. If the server name changed, every trader's saved login would stop working at once.
Before your first account
During setup you can change the server name as often as you like. Use that time to settle on the final name.
If you rebrand later
- Change the display name, logo and colours freely; traders see the new brand.
- The server name stays the same; traders keep logging in as before.
Most traders never think about the server name after their first login, so a server name that no longer matches the brand exactly is rarely a problem.
Choosing well
Pick a server name tied to the business rather than a campaign or product line, for example the firm's core name rather than a seasonal promotion. Short names are easier for traders to type correctly, which also reduces login support tickets.
