Does PropExecutor provide trading capital?
Quick answer
No. PropExecutor provides software, not capital. Accounts on the platform are simulated, with starting balances set by the firm, such as $10,000 or $100,000. The firm decides its own payout terms and pays traders from its own funds. PropExecutor never funds traders or pays them.
Detailed answer
The starting balance on a PropExecutor account is a number the firm chooses for each account type. It is not money deposited anywhere.
How the money flows in a typical firm
- Traders pay the firm for evaluations.
- Traders trade simulated accounts on PropExecutor.
- Traders who pass and profit request payouts from the firm.
- The firm pays them from its revenue under its terms.
PropExecutor sits in the middle step only.
What the firm needs to plan
Because payouts come from the firm, it needs a pricing model and a reserve. PropExecutor helps with the data side: each account's balance, equity, realised profit and full deal history are available in the admin panel and through the API, so the firm can estimate payout liability across its funded accounts at any time.
Account size and cost
The starting balance does not affect what PropExecutor charges. Every trading account uses one prepaid credit whether it starts at $5,000 or $200,000, so a firm can offer large account sizes without paying more for them on the platform side.
