How do plan upgrades work?

Quick answer

An upgrade moves your firm to a higher plan for the difference in plan price and adds the difference in included accounts: Starter to Basic costs $370 for 200 more accounts, Starter to Growth $1,670 for 1,200, and Basic to Growth $1,300 for 1,000. Unused credits carry over, and new features unlock immediately.

Detailed answer

Upgrades are one-time purchases, like plans.

Upgrade prices

  • Starter → Basic: $370, +200 accounts.
  • Starter → Growth: $1,670, +1,200 accounts.
  • Basic → Growth: $1,300, +1,000 accounts.

Each price equals the difference between the two plans' prices, and each grant equals the difference in their included accounts.

What changes

  • Tier: your organization moves to the new plan.
  • Credits: the account difference is added to your pool.
  • Features: the new plan's rule catalogue, rule-set limits and branding level unlock.
  • Packs: future top-ups are priced at the new plan's rate.

What stays the same

  • Every existing account, rule set version and trader.
  • Your remaining credits.

How to upgrade

Choose the upgrade on the billing page in the admin panel and pay through checkout. The upgrade is applied when the payment is confirmed.

Worked example

A Starter firm has used 40 of its 50 accounts, leaving 10. It upgrades to Basic for $370, receiving 200 more. It now has 210 remaining, against a Basic plan total of 250.
